High-precision 360° levelling with uncompromising green beam visibility

The Bosch UniversalLevel 360 line laser represents a technological evolution in measuring technology for demanding DIY enthusiasts and tradespeople. This model directly replaces older generations of measuring tools and introduces a key innovation in the form of a green laser diode (wavelength 500–540 nm). The green beam offers up to four times better visibility to the human eye than standard red lasers, which you will appreciate especially when working in bright daylight or in brightly lit interiors.

At the heart of the tool is an advanced laser module that projects a complete 360° horizontal line. This allows precise levelling and alignment of objects around the entire perimeter of a room from a single position, without having to constantly rotate or move the tool. The horizontal plane is ideally complemented by a vertical line with a 120° spread angle, which creates a perfect cross for accurate marking of perpendiculars and installation of vertical elements. A working range of up to 24 metres provides ample flexibility even in larger indoor spaces.

Technical sophistication for flawless results

The design of the laser focuses on speed and precision of set-up. Thanks to a self-levelling mechanism with a pendulum compensator, the tool automatically levels itself within a range of ±4° in just 4 seconds. If the tool is outside this range, the laser lines start flashing, eliminating any errors caused by an incorrectly positioned base. The resulting measuring accuracy of ±0.4 mm/m meets the demanding requirements for installing plasterboard ceilings, laying wall and floor tiles, aligning electrical boxes or installing furniture units.

For specific construction tasks – such as installing railings, building staircases or painting diagonal decorative patterns – the laser features an integrated slope function. By locking the self-levelling unit, the tool can be tilted to any angle while the laser cross remains steadily projected along the required diagonal.

Ergonomics, stability and durability in practice

The Bosch UniversalLevel 360 is designed for demanding working environments. The sides of the tool housing feature robust rubber overmoulding that ensures a secure grip and increases resistance to impacts and mechanical damage. With its compact dimensions and a weight of just 0.56 kg, it is very easy to handle.

This set includes the TT 150 aluminium tripod with a standard 1/4" thread. The tripod provides a firm support, minimises beam vibration and allows smooth height adjustment for precise positioning of the laser lines at the required height. The system is powered by four commonly available 1.5 V AA batteries, which supply enough energy for stable long-term operation without depending on mains power.
